At Cornu Design, we care not only about what we create, but also about how we create it.
Sustainability lies at the heart of our process and guides every design decision we make.

All our 3D printed pieces are made using recycled PLA (Polylactic Acid) — a material that perfectly embodies our vision of combining innovation with environmental responsibility.

Why PLA?

PLA is derived from renewable natural resources such as cornstarch, sugar cane, or cassava.
Unlike petroleum-based plastics, it doesn’t rely on fossil fuels or release toxic emissions during production.
Ours is corn-based and fully biodegradable, meaning it naturally breaks down under industrial composting conditions without leaving harmful residues behind.

Today, PLA has become one of the most widely used bioplastics in the world, increasingly adopted in packaging, furniture, interior design, and creative industries.
Its durability, versatility, and eco-friendly nature make it a strong alternative to conventional plastics — proving that sustainability and aesthetics can truly coexist.

The production of PLA requires up to 65% less energy than traditional plastics and generates significantly fewer greenhouse gas emissions.
Even when recycled, it retains its strength and visual quality — allowing us to create timeless pieces without compromising our values.

By choosing recycled PLA, Cornu Design takes a small but meaningful step toward a circular design future — where creativity and responsibility exist in perfect harmony.
